Department of Gastroenterology & Hepatology of BIHS general hospital offers both inpatient and outpatient services, emergency services as well as a wide range of diagnostic tests and procedures.

SERVICE / FACILITIES

Emergency: We provide 24-hour emergency services for GI disease e.g. blood vomiting, black stool, severe vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, unconsciousness due to liver disease etc.

 Outdoor: The department has daily morning OPD from 8. oo AM to 2.00 PM.

Symptoms/ disease we treat Abdominal pain, Indigestion, Gas and gas pain, Nausea and vomiting, heartburn, Rectal bleeding, Diarrhea, Dysentery, Constipation, Unexplained weight loss, Jaundice, Irritable bowel, syndrome (IBS), Inflammatory bowel, disease (IBD), Small intestinal, bacterial overgrowth, (SIBO), Food allergies and intolerances, Peptic ulcer disease, Diverticulitis, Colorectal polyps, Hemorrhoids, Swallowing difficulties, Gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD), Viral hepatitis, Fatty liver disease, Cirrhosis, Gallstones, Cholecystitis, Pancreatitis, Cancer (Stomach, Colorectal cancer, Esophageal cancer, Liver cancer, etc).

 Indoor: All in-patients receive treatment by team of Resident Doctors and Nurses, available round the clock, under the supervision and guidance of our renowned specialists. Hospital Attendants are available in different wards to help in patient care and related activities.
